Intruder Detection

Intruder alarms have two major benefits – they are an effective deterrent to criminal entry and ensure a prompt security response to any attempted or successful breaches of systems.

Scot-Tech Fire and Security offers a comprehensive range of wired and wireless intruder alarms and detection systems at Grade 2 and Grade 3 for domestic, commercial and industrial premises. All of our alarms are capable of 24/7 remote monitoring by our Alarm Receiving Centre with the option of dual-path monitoring via GSM, IP & PSTN.

As an SSAIB* accredited installer, our alarm systems are recognised by insurers, making our customers eligible for police response on confirmed intruder detection.

Alarm systems available:

  • Hard-wired intruder alarms
  • Wireless intruder alarms
  • CCTV linked alarms
  • Monitored alarms
  • Silent and personal attack alarms
  • Integrated alarms

Our security alarm systems comply with ACPOS** specifications, enabling them to be remotely monitored with police response.

We service intruder alarm systems whether or not we installed them, and offer a comprehensive takeover service with full testing and recertification. All systems are eligible for our 24/7 on-call back-up package, and we provide a full preventative maintenance package for regular intruder alarm testing for enhanced security.

We also provide monitoring of intruder alarm systems, so that, in the event of activation, key-holders are contacted by our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to allow them to check the premises. In the event of a confirmed activation, a voice alarm can be played to deter an intruder and the ARC will contact the local police authority to allow them to visit the site and investigate the incident.
